WITH IT BEING SAID THAT LARGE BET AMOUNTS STOP RACES WHAT IS AN ACCEPTABLE MINIMUM AMOUNT THAT CAN BE AGREED UPON TO GET TO PEOPLE TO RACE? I THINK $1,000 IS GOOD.
I NO THE ARGUMENT CAN BE MADE OF, "HOW THE HELL U SPEND ALL THIS MONEY IN A CAR BUT ONLY WANNA RACE FOR SOME SMALL AMOUNT". WELL, WITH THE ECONOMY BEING BAD EVERYBODY DOES NOT HAVE A MONEY TREE TO PLUCK FROM BUT THEY STILL HAVE CARS AND THEY STILL LIKE TO RACE SO SMALL BET AMOUNTS SEEM JUST FOR THEM SO THIS COULD BE THE CASE FOR SOME. FOR OTHERS IT MAYBE BE THERE WAY OF SAVING FACE BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANNA RACE SAYIN IT'S NOT FOR ENOUGH MONEY. SOME MAY JUST WANT TO SOUND BIG WILLIE. SO IN THE END WHAT MIN AMOUNT IS ENOUGH TO GET 2 PEOPLE TO RACE?

People who are at the track to watch races just want people to race...... But betting is a part of it. For me the bet can be any amount if the racers agree. Most people have more than one person betting on the race and that good so one person will not risk all the money. But one more thing I think if anyone wants to race a high dollar car the bet will and should start at 1000 dollars.

I agree tricky. That's my what I can guarantee out of my pocket. I will go lower though. I'm not out to make a living on this shit. That's what I go to work for. If a man can't accommodate what I have to bet. Keep it movin then. If my few friends want to bet more than cool. But I don't like a lot of people trying to get in pot cause it always someone loosin something they shouldn't have and the more bs will come along with it.

I strongly agree, that is why a lot of races do not take place. I am in the category of $500 minimum and $1000 is my maximum. I let guys on the side do their own thing and I can handle my end. I can't hate on anyone that bets more "more power to you" my pockets are not that deep. Good Post!

I agree. If your a one man show 1000 is a good bet. cause most big money races i have seen have 5 to 10 people pooling there money together on that race
